This event is one of Orillia's gems. After a 5+ year hiatus, Arts for Peace will host a unique gathering on the shores of Lake Couchiching at the Leacock Museum National Historic Site, featuring musical and artistic activities that celebrate a peaceful approach to life and community.
Adults and children of all ages will enjoy bubbles, stories, crafts, origami paper cranes, willow garlands, clay creations, painting, knitting, kids' yoga, drumming, singing, live music and circle dancing.
Thanks to Through My Eyes - Photography by Deb Halbot for capturing a photo of Wynnie Whalen-McKean during this magical moment at a previous event.
There is no cost to attend the festival. It is organized and delivered thanks to the efforts of many community volunteers. and we are very grateful to the City of Orillia for providing a grant to help minimize costs.
