On Mach 21st Ted met with Bob Ballantyne and his daughter Mary to receive a print of the “Laughing Jesus” that has been meaningful to Bob’s family.

Bob’s father, Reverend L.R Ballantyne, was the minister at St. Paul’s from 1926 – 1929 notably serving at the point of the United Church union. Bob’s mother Robena sang in the choir at that time. They went on to serve at various congregations in southern Ontario.

Bob and Mary were appreciative to meet several other folks during their visit. It allowed an opportunity to discuss changes, reminisce and rediscover connections to extended family and friendships.
