ST. PAUL'S CENTRE SHARING GARDEN

formerly st. paul’s centre community garden

We felt the name change is appropriate to better communicate that the produce we plant is FREE to the community to support food insecurity.

We are about to launch into our 4th year of planting in the containers and an in ground garden in the back of the church, freshly renovated by our friends at Orillia Rotary Club.

Our goal is to support the Orillia Food Council in its mandate to “Enhance local food knowledge and food literacy in the  community." To that end, we have several garden plots around St. Paul's Centre, and encourage local families to come and pick the vegetables that are grown here, as they ripen. Watch this space to see how we grow St. Paul's Sharing Garden, in its scope and mandate!
